Travel Vaccinations

We are not able to offer vaccinations required for work purposes.  If you are required to relocate or travel for work purposes, please speak to your employer about this. 

Woodlands Medical Centre has a limited number of travel appointments available. Appointments are in high demand and are available on a first come, first serve basis so please book well in advance of your planned travel. We recommend allowing as much time as possible prior to planned travel arrangements in order for us to try and schedule you in.

Patients can obtain advice on the vaccinations required for their journey by visiting Travel Health Pro. The travel health pro website will inform you of the relevant vaccinations required, you will then need to fill out a travel health risk assessment form.

Yellow Fever Vaccination

Woodlands Medical Centre does not offer a Yellow Fever Vaccination service. The nearest local Yellow Fever Vaccination services is at Abingdon Surgery, Stert Street, Abingdon

Rabies Vaccinations

Woodlands Medical Centre does not offer a Rabies vaccination service.  You will need to contact one of the nearby private clinics for this service.

Fitness to Fly

Woodlands Medical Centre is not able to provide fitness to fly certificates for insurance purposes.  This is a private service and if you need a form completed, you will need to contact a private travel clinic or a private GP for this.
