How to Request a Home Visit
Home visits are available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.
If you believe that you require a home visit you should telephone the surgery between 09:00 and 10:30.
A Doctor will phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, the Early Visiting Service or to arrange a hospital attendance.
GP Home visits are made after morning surgery usually between 12:00 - 14:00 (these times may vary).
It is not possible to guarantee that the doctor of your choice will visit.
